Our carefree paving slabs will let you naturally design some straight or curved paths in the gardens, parks and green spaces - on a loose base course or on a plastic honeycomb grid underlayment.

The slightly elastic paving slabs provide a special safety and a running comfort similar to that given by the forest soil. The slabs are extensively water-permeable, quick-drying and they don't seal the ground below. They are slip-resistant, provide fall protection and don't let the noise caused by hard footwear, trolley bags or skateboards even arise.

Colour
Anthracite

A car tyre is made of black dyed rubber (SBR). That's why the rubber granulate made of car tyres is also black. During processing with a colourless binder, black products are made. Similarly to the car tyres, the colour changes in these products after a short time from full black to a dark grey, also known as anthracite.

Material

The rubber granulate with irregularly formed particles is obtained from discarded tyres. It mainly consists in the high-valuable mix of natural rubber (NR) and synthetically manufactured Styrene-Butadiene Rubber (SBR). The material properties of the WARCO preform largely correspond to those known from SBR. The granulate with an edge length from 1.0 to 3.0 mm creates fine-grained surfaces.

Assembly or connection system

Concealed interlocking puzzle system with bevelling

The edges of the tiles are designed with a stepped rabbet and integrated puzzle interlocking system. Two sides of each tile have a positive interlocking profile, while the other two sides have a precisely matching negative profile. This puzzle interlocking system ensures a durable and stable connection between adjacent tiles during installation. Concealed within the stepped rabbet, the joint system remains invisible in the finished surface. The result is a classic, right-angled, chessboard-like joint pattern.

Structure of the underside

Drainage channels and domes arranged in a square pattern

The base of the tile has a structure with drainage channels approximately 4 mm deep. These channels connect with those of adjacent tiles to form a continuous network. Large dome-shaped depressions, approximately 15 mm deep, are incorporated into the square sections between the drainage channels. These depressions improve the weather resistance, dimensional stability and damping properties of the tile. The tiles can be installed over a bonded base course, roofing membrane or plastic grass grid. It is important to follow the installation instructions.
